Recently I’ve been sorting through my negative’s folder and found a few that I never got around to doing anything with. It’s refreshing to look back with new ideas and new insight, this one is from a shoot I did last year inspired by Modigliani.
The direction I’ve taken here is inspired by an amazing little book I recently discovered of old Hungarian photographs.
Details:
Mamiya 645, 80mm, Kodak Portra 160NC, printed in black and white darkroom. I experimented with a sepia tone, but settled on a selenium type tone because it surprisingly looks more classical in this instance and with this type of lighting.
